The Dunham Fund, a private foundation, was created in 2006 to serve local charitable needs.  The foundation received its funding from the estate of John C. Dunham, who passed away in April 2006.

The foundation is governed by local civic leaders who devote their expertise to ensuring the continuation of Mr. Dunham’s impressive philanthropic legacy. The members of the Dunham Fund Board of Advisors are Ryan Maley, Michael Morcos, Stewart Beach, Robert Vaughan, Mark Truemper and Wendy Hirsch.

Since its inception, several million dollars have been awarded in Mr. Dunham’s name to numerous charitable projects.

In 2009, an advisory fund was created within the Community Foundation by the Dunham Fund Board of Advisors to assist the organization in the fulfillment of its charitable objectives.

We chose the Community Foundation because of its reputation. It’s well known, established and we can trust them to do the job for us.
