William A. “Bill” Wulff passed away on December 11, 2021.

William A Wulff, 78 of Sugar Grove, IL. died peacefully on December 11, 2021. He was born in Aurora, IL on July 18, 1943.
Bill was a graduate of Marmion Military Academy, and St Ambrose College in Davenport Iowa. From 1965-1969, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy and most of the time was spent on the USS Providence CLG-6, which saw home port at Yokosuka, Japan as part of the Pacific 7th Fleet during the Vietnam war. The ship carried 150 Terror Missiles. Bill worked at State Street Marshall Field’s as a credit analyst, and DynaScan Corporation prior to purchasing the Aurora Greenhouse in 1989, which he operated for many years. He was president of the Heather Ridge townhome association, past president of the Sugar Grove Historical Society, and secretary of the North Aurora Garden Club. He was a master gardener who spent the last 29 years perfecting his garden space which was featured in Bliss Living in 2016. Thanks to author Jo Redell Higgins for sharing some of Bill’s history.
Bill is survived by his brother John (Pamela) of Batavia, Peter of Batavia, Mary (James) of Libertyville and Timothy (Susan) of Batavia, along with 9 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was also very close with his cousin Elizabeth (Joel) Molitor, Aurora.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Nathalie, his twin brother Richard and his brother Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 P.M. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove. A funeral mass will be celebrated in memory of Bill at 11 A.M. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 8S055 Dugan Rd., Sugar Grove. Private interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations can be made to Marmion Academy of Aurora, or The Richard A. & William A. Wulff Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, 111 W. Downer Pl., Suite 312, Aurora, IL 60506. (The nursing education scholarship he established).
