Headset Intercom System Purchased
Batavia – Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, BATV crew will be able to communicate through a wireless intercom system. The seven-user headset intercom system is used throughout the professional broadcast community to communicate between directors and camera operators. These headsets will assist with many multi-camera shoots throughout our community; we already used them for the LIVE Batavia High School Graduation Ceremony broadcast.
“With five camera operators, a director, a monitor, and an engineer spread throughout the high school gymnasium, it would have been impossible for us to pull off a professional video production without the headsets. In the past we sent texts to each other trying to coordinate shot angles and that was less than ideal. We are really looking forward to having them for the upcoming live football broadcasts from Bulldog Stadium,” Holly Deitchman, Station Manager, BATV.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support BATV’s growth. We believe in the services that BATV offers the community and are happy to support their mission,” Sharon Stredde, President & CEO, Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley.
