Giving Tuesday Challenge

Welcome and thank you for your interest in participating in the Giving Tuesday Challenge.

Giving Tuesday is a national fundraising day for nonprofit organizations. On November 30,2021, individuals across the nation will be focused on giving in their local neighborhoods. In an effort to promote Giving Tuesday and support nonprofits in our community, Dunham Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley are partnering together to provide a challenge grant program for nonprofits. The goal of this grant program is to challenge nonprofits in our service area to utilize the strategies that have been known to produce positive outcomes and success.

The process is simple:

Login to the Grants Portal by clicking the button below. From your “Applicant Dashboard” select “Apply” at the top left of the page. That will bring up the 2021 Giving Tuesday application.

  • Twelve (12) eligible nonprofit names will be drawn during the virtual Giving Tuesday Celebration on December 16, 2021.

[Renewing Scholarship Recipient] Graduate of Hinkley-Big Rock High School

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
