Public Art Coalition of Fox River Valley

Established 2017

LET’S BUILD THE FOX RIVER ART TRAIL TOGETHER!

Want to help produce inspiring new works of public art? Your contribution to this fund provides direct support to local artists with a passion to beautify our communities together!

This fund is dedicated to regional development and stewardship of public art contributions through coordinated philanthropic support.

The Fox River Art Trail provides a broad array of welcoming destinations for recreation and education in Fox Valley. Investment is focused on beautifying gateway locations to historic downtown business and entertainment centers.

New works will be produced in collaboration with Fox Valley’s leading arts organizations. By partnering with established regional arts, recreation and culture organizations, this coalition aspires to:

  • Elevate appreciation of local history
  • Inspire stewardship of natural resources
  • Celebrate a diverse array of community cultures

Public art is a meaningful way to welcome exploration and enjoyment of the unique attributes of Fox River Valley’s watershed region.  Residents and guests will be inspired to engage with our communities in new and meaningful ways.

There’s no question in my mind that the scholarship I received opened up possibilities.

…you can always start small, even $25 can make a difference. Remember we can’t take our money with us. Even if it’s just your gift of time. Volunteer and get involved.

Thank you very much for supporting my college education for these four years. I will never be able to repay you for the opportunity that this scholarship has given to me.

Julia H.

[Renewing Scholarship Recipient] Graduate of Hinkley-Big Rock High School

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
