Beth Shannon Memorial Fund

Established 2019

The Beth Shannon Memorial Fund is designed to honor its namesake, Beth Shannon. Beth was a teacher at Western Ave. in Geneva for nearly twenty years. Beth was a mom, a friend, and an avid supporter of her community, and this fund is designed to carry on that community support. The main fundraiser for this fund is the annual Beth Shannon Memorial Golf Outing that started in 2017, a year after her passing. This golf outing has supported various community causes like scholarships for future educators, Lazarus House, Gigi’s Playhouse, and Mutual Ground.
