Ted and Florence Lindgren Endowment Fund

Florence and Ted Lindgren

This fund was created to honor the lives of Ted and Florence Lindgren. It provides support for the VFW to assist veterans in need.

Ted enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and served in the European Theater during World War II. He was a member of Post 771, Springfield, VT and served as both post and state commander. He also served as a Representative to the Vermont State Legislature for twelve years.

Florence, the mother of seven, was employed as a technician at Jones & Lamson Machine Company in Springfield, VT. She was active in women’s program at Calvary Baptist Church in Springfield.

Thank you very much for supporting my college education for these four years. I will never be able to repay you for the opportunity that this scholarship has given to me.
